Well, I'm in Mobility, and they are offer Voluntary Salaried Separation Packages (VSSP) to select areas within Mobility. So no more fretting or pouting, you are finally getting your wish....they are getting rid of people there, too, just like everywhere else in Ford.

Offers went out yesterday; the clock to decided starts on 7/19 and they have until September to make it final. All who except the offer must leave by end of October, so they can book the savings in 4th qtr. My guess is that involuntariness may be coming in 2022 ; either that or budget cuts and moving people around again via reorg that never seem to end.

Wasteful spending on protects that have no path to profitability is not sustainable. Mobility has been losing billions of dollars since its inception, and is not close to being revenue positive. Unfortunately, this is Bill’s pet project and Farley is along for his ride, so this will not get fixed anytime soon. Most people in this group add zero value to the bottom line, and never will.
