I guess the first survey for vax status failed so they are sending out another one in hopes the wording with coerce employees to divulge their personal medical information.
It appears that many do not want to share that detail.

Exactly what personal information are you sharing by saying "I am vaccinated"? No one should be afraid to share that. It is only the id**ts who won't get the vaccine who don't want to share it.
I agree with parts of both of the two previous posts.
They have been working on a SARS vaccine for a long time. SARS first struck in 2002. So, they did learn quite a bit. But, I believe that the initial SARS vaccines were failures. I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the early SARC vaccines did trigger an anti-body response. The only problem was than when the vaccinated were exposed to the real virus that it triggered a cytokine storm and was worse than if they did not have the vaccine at all. So, it was difficult to make the current vaccines and the work done in 12 months relied on past work, including failures.
I also agree that there is a difference between Emergency Use and Full FDA approval. Not sure exactly what it is, but if it were JUST a question of whether manufacturing could proceed in parallel with testing, there would be no need to make up two approval names.
So, there is risk.
My opinion is that the risk is higher for those that don't get the vaccine. I would prefer to work among vaccinated co-workers. I would prefer to be able to trust that collegues who say they are vaccinated are honest about it.
I wouldn't be surprised if even the un-vaccinated would prefer to work among vaccinated coworkers.
Think it through. Please go get the shot. Collect the $100.
@Vaccinated.... ummm if what you say is true, then why is it EUA and not FDA approved? 12 years in the making should equal full approval if you know anything about the science.
Personally I think they should require proof of vaccine. What personal information are you afraid they know? That you are protecting yourself and coworkers? If you don’t believe in the vaccine then wear a mask! You can’t prove you got the vaccine if you didn’t get it. You fools who say they developed it too fast don’t understand science. The SARS Covid virus has been around for 12 plus years. They did not develop the vaccine in less than a year. They only tweaked it according to the Covid19 virus based on 12 plus years of research.
When a score goes UP one percent, they usually tell us how hard it is to move it even a single percent.
But, when the score goes down, we don't get that sentence.
Hmm.
Higher percent of promotions this year? Could that be because you fired so many people and then overloaded those who stayed? I know I work at MetLife so it is expected that I'm d-mb, but I know maths.
Hard hitting survey analysis today lol.
He's sounding like he has COVID with his winded talking and coughing. Get well soon Michel.
Michel looking like he just walked off the squash court, just missing the headband
Great optics here. Our CEO in a "winning the future" jersey and some god awful headphone and microphone set up playing Bob Costas interviewing someone with no education and who has nothing to say that will help any of us. This company is a total joke. But heeey they checked some boxes, black, female, young. Probably will help them win some joke of a workplace award from a blog or magazine we have never heard of.
LOL @circle jerk. They should have gotten Kerri Strug for LTL instead, because be honest, this company has been limping for awhile.
On today's LTL we will hear from a 25 yr old Olympic gold medal gymnyst to inspire us and hopefully make us forget the mess that Metlife has created, and the absolutely terrible work environment. Such a joke. Maybe we can have another half hour circle jerk for one of the executives leaving while they are at it. What a joke.
Re "do you think they'll mention RTO".
Yeah, they'll mention it, but won't say anything substantial. They'll tell us some "success" stories of the volunteers and how great it is.
What I want to know is will the vacc'ed come in Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the unvacced come in Thrusday, Friday one week? Next week, vacced come in Monday, Tuesday, and unvacced come in Wed, Thurs, Fri.
The weekend allows time for cleaning.
Do you think they'll mention RTO in the LTL tomorrow? Or will they wait until next week for those updates?
I can’t wait to hear about the new holiday. How are they going to deny a “cultural” day when everyone wants Good Friday off!?
@funny thing. Yes! I get the feeling that HR is going rogue and the rest of the leadership is kind of letting them, but not supporting them much. Big talk but the execution is lacking.
"HR: We have a new bonus system!" (but we don't know how it's going to work yet, never mind that the year is more than half over)
"HR: We have a new holiday!" (but we don't know how to let you take it)
"HR: We'll pay you $100 to get the vaccine" (did you get the vaccine? dija? dija? dija?)
The funny thing is they could have set up the survey system to send this email from a MetLife email address. But I guess nobody involved in creating the survey knows this so they went with the super spammy looking system default email address instead. Gives me confidence that they know how to securely use the data collection part of the survey system.
There was no validation or consequence for the $100 survey.
There are real world consequences now if people lie about the vaccine and are in the office.
Definitely sounds like some MetLife "leadership" is reading these now based on some of the replies. Good for them, open your eyes to the mess you are creating.
One thing I don't understand is why did they need to do another survey when they know who applied for the $100 incentive for getting the shots??
@little MetLife HR, hardly, it sounds like an employee knows their HIPAA regs....as do I, everyone should know HIPAA, but I guess you don't read those privacy forms you have signed at your doctors offices? HIPAA does not protect you the way you think it does, do your homework.
Did the first survey explicitly say that they were tracking it down to the individual?
I thought the first survey was a more general "how many people in each site have been vaccinated".
The second, was pretty clearly tracking each person individually.
It is a bit creepy. On the other hand, I guess I'd rather sit next to other vacc'ed folks and put the un-vacc'ed in their own area.
@1ahv+1bNOqqXI - Sounds like a nice little MetLife HR and Legal crafted message, thanks!
@The Email.... HIPAA prevents healthcare entities from sharing your information. It does not prevent anyone or any entity from asking you directly. If you are concerned, don't respond?
The email is going to come from "noreply@qemailserver.com" this is a qualtrics.com email address. Are they HIPAA compliant if they are going to be collecting PHI?

The company has bought the vaccination propaganda. Here are some facts:
The Covid Vaccines were never designed to stop transmission or infection.
The papers submitted to the FDA show that the primary endpoint (what the vaccines are meant to accomplish) is to lower your symptoms.
That’s it … lowering your symptoms.
It can’t stop us from spreading the virus.
It can’t stop the virus from infecting us once we have it.
To get the vaccine is to accept all the risk of these experimental products.
And the best it might do is lower symptoms?
The vaccines are considered gene therapy, and were not approved by the FDA as EUA or under the evaluation as gene therapy, rather they were approved as if they were conventional vaccines (not mRNA).
Think the first “survey” was the submit your status for $100. Guessing people haven’t done that in widespread numbers.
And what was that link? Am I sharing medical info with an unknown 3rd party?
