I was told earlier that there was a farewell barbecue in the car park to celebrate the success of the plant......yes, you can't make this up...... Apparently the ones who were there at the start of B and are now working in other units were not even invited. Seems about right for the tragedy that was B.
Just one left. A shame really. Eventually that may be the case for the whole of Stonehouse, it seems to be slowly disappearing into the abyss.
Will there be a final farewell email from those who are leaving for a better life?
There is a small amount of production, basically one person, making rechargeable cells but this has been going on for 10 years with minimal results. A dead duck if there ever was one. The rest have either been made redundant or been offered dead end jobs in Stonehouse and Quedgely. Yes, it is effectively closed.
As it shutdown yet or is it doing so this week ? Or perhaps plans have changed ?
@huje+1bMeX4tI Why do you ask such questions. Based on merit as always.
Do you know who all are getting bigger portfolio and massive payraise after B shutdown.
Pol P-t was more tolerable.
Cardi B is more tolerable
Who is Queen B? And is she related to Cardi B?
Some hav been promoted or given a better portfolio. Guess who in office is that
Some have chosen to leave, some have accepted lower pay. Get your facts correct fanboy.
Everyone has been offered a role.
Can't be many jobs available in Building A, how long before all assembly and testing of new build tools move to China leaving only the inept and useless managers behind.
SHT has no long term future left, it's well past it's peak and failure to innovate with new non oil based technologies well hasten it's demise.
Basically go to building A or stores, but if you go to stores expect a pay cut.
don't know about management.
Number of people at Stonehouse is less than half of what it was 6.5 years ago. This is mainly due to bad management and unable to make decisions based on facts. Everything is driven by politics and biased opinions of a few. The attrition will shoot up very fast very soon
