Put in my notice. I feel like a weight has been lifted. Got a new job which was such a blessing an came right on time as I was contemplating quitting this one. Gave this company almost 10 years of my life in claims. I was an excellent worker then things changed when the company ran us in the ground with an overwhelming amount of work when they laid off people, my work ethic went down from there. From the long hours, constant micromanaging, threats of putting us UN, an the stress this company brings it was Just terrible place to work. This company does not care about its employees or customers. I will miss my coworkers I hope the find something an get out as well. Most have an some are still searching. I plan to help them in any way I can as I understand first hand how this company operates. You have to protect you peace an sanity. Good luck to those getting out an I pray for those still there.

I don't think Allstate was expecting so many GOOD Claims people to leave in addition to all the layoffs. Allstate's Corporate Arrogance (definition: the dehumanisation or depersonalisation of employees and others, who are treated as objects rather than as people) can not fathom why anyone would leave the great and almighty Allstate on their own accord. Insured had a 28 minute hold time yesterday, gave up and called me (their Agent). I called Claims... 77 minute HOLD TIME. I sent an email to the claims team. Insd put in Insurance Commissioner Complaint. No fault of the Adjusters, they can only answer one call at a time. If anyone remembers the story of the Little Dutch Boy who saved the town by putting his finger in the Dy-e to stop the leak... not enough fingers, not enough hands. God Bless the people who are left. You are appreciated... by me at least.
I left this horrible company 3 months ago, after putting in nearly 20 years. It was the BEST thing I could have done. I was in Claims and this joke of a company will never compete with GEICO or Progressive. This dumpster fire is too far gone and they only care about profit at any cost (customer service or employees) and doubt this approach will ever give them the market share they think this will get. Need to lead by example….and that will never happen!! Smells like the old Sears catalogs are burning in those dumpsters!
Me still on the inside looking to get out congratulates you! My day will come soon as well. Interviewing as well. 12 years here and the last year have been a nightmare . I just feel bad for the policyholders. Delays in claims handling , using inferior parts on their cars now and them having to deal with adjusters from India now
