Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

will DXC ANZ be losing some of the ATO business ?

I heard that the ATO in Australia was looking to put its IT services out to tender

https://www.itnews.com.au/news/ato-prepares-to-market-test-its-biggest-it-outsourcing-deals-564112

wonder what this means for DXC? Hoping it doesn't mean they are at risk of losing one of their largest accounts ?

"Now its a full RFP bid against everyone - chance to win (back) all the areas lost from the original EDS contract, or opportunity to lose what residual legacy work still currently retained""

I'm hoping that DXC have done a good job over the last few years that will be taken into consideration and hopefully we ensure that they are given the chance to continue

Don't worry, the apac/anz President is on the case. He's going to offer the them a free set of steak knives and a bonus new DXC hoody if they sign before the end of Q2. Might even give the Tax commissioner a ride in his Maserati.

He did this last time to get the final extension. Now its a full RFP bid against everyone - chance to win (back) all the areas lost from the original EDS contract, or opportunity to lose what residual legacy work still currently retained

No pressure ...

Of Course they put out RFI's , any decent CEO is going to look for what's best for a company with one contract expires. They are looking to pressure DXC into giving more at a lower cost, don't read anything into it. If they just renewed our contract, the CEO wouldn't be doing his/her job affectedly

am I the only one that thinks if the ATO account is lost completely there will be a massive Account level WFR program and the hunt will be on for scapegoats and ''alternative' revenue sources (assuming that large outsourcing deals like ATO are still out there)?

Don't worry, M2 has this... All part of the 'revenue stabilisation' plan! Investors and analysts will love it - DXC is a buy...

In reality a big fat short one, who will blink first?

i'm sure if DXC lose the business it will be due to 'headwinds'' and issues ''outside of DXC's control"'
