Every discipline, department and function inside Xerox has been hit by layoffs,furloughs,outsourcing and rebadging. The workforce is decimated.
The spirit and know how is pretty much gone.Team work and is dead.Elvis has left the building !
If anyone thinks what’s going down in xerox right now is the same at any other company then the world is in BIG trouble. “Some are happy and Some are not...” This is vague, dismissive, let them eat cake, xerox mgt speak at its best. Problem is that this B$ verbiage would NEVER be challenged in a non anonymous forum as the reciprocity would be swift and immediate...Care to quantify “some” and the positions of those “some”? Pathetic.
The sooner companies like xerox disappear from the earth the better.
Some employees are happy to work at Xerox, some are not - I think it's the same at any other company, too. But that's no reason to badmouth a company so endlessly just because the Internet is anonymous. After all, if someone has been with a company for 30 years, it can't all have been as bad as it's being portrayed here now. If you are unhappy with your situation, no matter in which company you work, then change something, but stop pouring out your bad mood on the Internet, because no one is to blame for your situation, except yourself.
I worked there over 15 years (XBS core) and it didn't get bad UNTIL Xerox came into the picture. I left. Never been happier.
Left a couple of years ago after almost 30 years. Couldn't stand working there anymore, so I retired. Don't miss the bu-----t a bit.
Agree that xerox is f* and if people want to post evidence and opinions repeatedly to support this I have no problem with that. How many times have you heard the tech power house marketing vomit how amazing they are to the point of blatant misrepresentation? Xerox is faker than wrestling in the 80’s and the more that’s communicated the better.
Although I agree Xerox is F***ed, it has been said many times by many, myself included, so, even though I agree with the sentiment it is adding very little at the point.
