What’s worse than a sinking ship? How about the crazy low morale to go along with it? If (and that’s a huge if) raises are given out it still won’t fix how employees feel about Belk. High performing people are leaving because they’re able to get more money elsewhere. It sucks because I used to love working here. Now I just come in, do my job and hope I can find something else quickly.

Why anyone would still be working at Belk is beyond me. There are so many better options. I left 4 years ago / best decision ever. If you think working regular retail for them is bad, imagine being the only female in Loss Prevention with the good old boy network.

but I can’t. It hits home way to much. Praying we all find something bigger. Better.
