15hr of OT and you complain...LOL when I was hired in the 90's you had 7 days a week and 12 hr days, don't like it there is the door.
You are 100% correct!
I work 40 hours a week for this company and I still pay my bills and still put away $1500 a month. Don't live beyond your means, you have til april 2023 to get what you can from this company, when that times comes with the new job title enhanced premise technician, we broadband technician and network technicians will be locked out of a job, the company will offer you this $24 hour job, no thanks the writing is on the wall.
55 hours a week is slavery. Don’t get that confused with paying bills!
55 hr weeks sure makes paying the bills easier 😁
Haha. At least the company paid me to sc--w me. I used to have to pay the Union to sc--w me. Left 1 1/2 years ago. The Union helps no one. Just themselves
I left mid May was able to retire after 22 +years,it was a great journey but sad to see what has become.I worked in Pacific northwest and no they did not want to make necessary improvements. I took buyout and retired but also got emails about positions in one for premise techs even in Seattle were they laid people off? Best regards and good luck to all.
Always the bu-t kisses above
go Phoenix! just what we need as the cost of living skyrockets out of control more layoffs! oh yeah!
Well we got the axe on Friday and Monday I get a job notice on indeed they are hiring for a trainer for a new school they are going to open in our reporting area. Description of job...you will be training entry level techs to do copper, Fiber and broadband work. I am guessing these are the $26hr techs we have been hearing that will be taking our jobs.
Phoenix
15 hours OT and approved A days? What is a matter with you? Stop giving your time to this company. Show them that they need more employees. Disgusting. Do not volunteer and avoid OT like the plague. Make them feel the mess they’ve made.
I was one of the 38 and I believe it was a blessing for me. I feel for the guys that are a little older and will have a tough time starting a new career. Over the last year it's become clear CTL has no interest in keeping the copper plant functional. I started looking for a job the day it was announced and companies were willing to do a lot to get me on board. Life is good and we will watch ctl from the outside and smile.
Yup. I got 15 hrs of ot this week. And volunteerd and approved for next 2 adays next 2 weeks.
Where's this at?
