CSCO revenue in 2020 was around $50B. I don't see little Vantara making that purchase. I would be less surprised to see Hitachi spin out some of Vantara hardware business and sell to CSCO, then combining what little cr---y services remain from Vantara with Global Logic.
Cisco have a poorly performing UCS and makes sense for them to sell it off to a HW vendor like HV. But the question is "What is HV's future direction? SW & Services or full on DC HW like Dell, HPE?"
There has been rumours for Cisco to get rid of the UCS biz, HV has CVD solutions
Ain’t true, I’m sure.
Cisco is a well known company, HV only buys totally unknown companies. I think buying a Blockchain company is due now. Lumada is missing block and chain.
Very unlikely.
I'd be very surprised if this were true. Wouldn't it make alot more sense the other way around?
