Thread regarding Refinitiv layoffs

Can this mess be fixed?

What miracle needs to happen for this mess in Refinitive to be cleaned up? Problems just pile up, and leadership isn't solving any. When I think it can’t get any worse, this company convinces me otherwise. I used to think that at least some things could be improved, but now I just hope to get a package soon.

This company needs a 'root and branch' clean up and clear cut of execs and senior management that have under performed, bull***ted and bullied over years.

LSEG has already acknowledged that the integration will take longer and cost more than it anticipated. They have loads of project/ programme managers and people in charge of managing the integration in the company that haven't a clue or even managed a full life cycle programme or merger in their life. It's like the blind leading the blind and many just looking out for themselves.

The behaviour of sone Snr. Managers is reprehensible and they have got away with it for years (TR and Refinitiv). The only solace is that some that are now looking over their shoulders and scared because they know their time is up and they do not have a CV or personality that would stand up in other organisations.

The lack of accountability for poor results over a decade (!) at the top management level is quite disconcerting. While replacing a lot of qualified staff, Refinitiv left the sales global leadership unchanged... and kept under-investing in products.
This company will be a case study of how you can transform a gem into... nothing.
It's sad for a lot of us who were attached to this great company.
The good news is that there is life elsewhere!

The last RIF eliminated a lot of SME talent, just to pretty up the books for sale. Seeing what was happening, resumes from the remaining people flood the market and some of them leave. Replacements are promised but rarely hired. Anyone should be able to spot this mess during an interview.

The current management trashed this company. Pray for a package.

Maybe they will be solved the day those that are in charge start to show where is the door to a couple of chaps....
Until everybody continues to do everything that they want without consequences the issues will never be solved!
