If you have Amazon Prime there is a documentary called "TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY". Bob Lutz pointed something out with a problem GM was going through when they hired him him 2001. Hired lots of consultants,, focus was not on building products people want. Since Ford 2000 the focus is gone. One trick Pony called F-series MAKES 90+% of the profits. If that does not change looking at 5-10 years Billy will run it into the ground.
LOL @1jip+1bBmMkp5 you do realize Ford hired stacks of the Kmart-Sears IT deadweights that were unable to abandon that sinking ship early? Our LL5 was bragging about how she hired all those people cheap. Our ship was already listing, now we are taking on water. More corporate welfare. SMH. Oh wait, I have a brilliant idea, let’s release all the high performing people and keep the dead weights, because they are so cheap! Oh snap, we tried that before didn’t we? Oh who cares, let’s do it again in 2022!

Which id__t would take LL6/5/4 names here? None of us work for Ford HR.
Too early to tell. But Morale i slow. I do not even take the pulse survey anymore. Come in do my job go home. Predict at least two more waves of cuts coming. Possibly more. Ford of Mexico picking up more up front program work. so what does that mean for NA PD? And for the UAW folks well don't feel so secure. In case you have not noticed so far most EV stuff going to Mexico. And as EVs become more of our line up less UAW folks required (30-40%) to assemble.
As in names?
Look in front of you, in back, to your left, and to your right- you'll figure it out.

The last Sears store in MI is closing it's doors. If they had a Conway project, they would be opening new stores instead of closing the last one.
Who didn’t deserve their promotions?
Hmm. Let's see. DEI initiatives progressed. Like the previous comment, lots of promotions for not the best candidates for the job.
Reorg then more reorgs, then no org charts issued or shared because "another reorg on the way". So, mass confusion. Note to management: org charts at director level are not very helpful to gsr level employees.
Depletion of technical people and the departments abilities. More work for the technical people that stayed, and less work for the deadbeats. (But all at the same pay level and same bonuses/merits)
Even more meetings.
Lower morale.
I'm sure I missed some.
