Juneteenth fell on Saturday & Claims got Friday off. Independence Day falls on a Sunday & claims doesn’t get Monday - although some departments do. I don’t get it.

Monday is a federal holiday...yet they give people off for a make believe holiday?
Allstate and Amazon vying for the title of slave labor sweat shop company of the year
It’s a shame bet I don’t be working on Monday let them fire me
No offense taken, I’m kind of an id--t and don’t have much in terms of marketable skills. I’ve looked for other jobs and would end up making 15/hr, I have a college degree but am basically trapped in auto estimating due to my own decisions and it’s also a dead end career, bad mix
65k a year? Man you have set some high goals for yourself and must have a skill set that employers are thirsting for. Pfft
No a personal attack, sorry niu, but to make a point to the broader group, so many of you could do so much better if you made the jump from whining about the company te-t and took control of your own situation.
Indeed it is, it honestly feels like some BS call center/retail gig at this point, but for 65k a years I’m going to shut up and do my job before they can me lol
Sounds like a good reason to shoot a little higher in your career goals... Staying in claims/CCC is obviously the equivalent of a retail job rather than a corporate job
There is no clout for giving us time to observe Independence Day
50% of us in claims had to work Juneteenth anyway, the only reason anyone got it off is Allstate appeasing the SJWs so they don’t get “cancelled”
They need to honor diversity and give everyone the day off and close the company for the Fourth of July. I am discriminated against because they are not giving everyone a recognized day off at the same time
Claims gets a deviated hiloday! Makes no sense a holiday should be a holiday for everyone in every dept of the company.
Monday - Not a company holiday for everyone.
CCC has to work Monday too. Although most other areas have Monday off in the company.
Monday - company holiday
