Work from Home Announcements

Anyone heard yet? I had a meeting this morning, these people are id--ts and self serving to say the least.

While I now have new requirements to be in the office more often than I used to, and for no good reason at all I'll leave it to them to figure out that my new hours are EXACTLY 9AM to 5PM, not a minute earlier or later. One full hour for lunch on the nose. Working late or coming in early are a thing of the past. They can have their "Future Work" I've got my own plan called "Future Work Life Balance"

@comical is probably one of the AVP and above who got an exemption from being in the office.

It's not comical. I've already started tbh.

This is so comical. All the 'we are only going to work 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. people' coming out of the woodwork.

Most of you are big talkers. As soon as the company and your management apply a little pressure you fold like accordions.

This is why they do the things they do... because they know they control the minions... yes... you!

Let's see how many of you big talkers stick to your g-ns long-term.

Just heard from my management about my personal situation. I'm actually required to be in the office more frequently now more than I was before the pandemic. This was obviously their excuse to actually slow the WFT trend that was starting before the pandemic. I'm with the other posters saying that they are strictly 9-5 with no exceptions. Leadership also told me that anyone AVP or above was required to be in an office 5x a week. I have to wonder if that will last, and if there are already wink and nod exceptions to that rule.

Its the only viable path to take—when asked to attend early or late meetings, the answer will be NO. When asked to stay late or work weekends the answer will be NO. And since this will get me nowhere I will also be applying elsewhere—-but for now I will embrace the 9 to 5 timeframe.
