Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Michigan aka Meridian

What's going on in Michigan other than shady business? keep piling on the work and have incompetent managers "the leadership team" the only thing they are leading is to a sinking ship..

I would not be surprised if they pull the plug and move Michigan offices to Illinois where they most likely belong..

I'm sure management knows what the plan is, but they would rather continue feeding us lies as it must be easier than the truth. Its never going to get better, time to jump ship.

I agree that leadership up and down the line is failing to deliver at Meridian in Michigan, but it seems very unlikely that the plan will move to Illinois for administration. That is not part of the Centene's "local control" model, and it isn't how the company administers its plans.

The Michigan market was hit hard in the first several rounds of post-acquisition layoffs, and it was heavily impacted by the latest RIF in Q1, too. With little-to-no advance planning for workload management, it is no wonder that the market is struggling.
