This topic hit a nerve.

Seems like Met ought to have a good idea of exactly who got the shot since they are offering a $100 bounty to employees. So why the survey??

MetLife should be interested in how many likely have immunity. You can get immunity through the vaccines or through having had Covid.

Many believe that due to exposure to Covid that we have already reached herd immunity.

@Flex Work.... agreed... there is clearly no intention of any flexible arrangements, in fact, it appears that they are sticking with the clearly inflexible work arrangements that existed pre-pandemic. Sad that the lies just keep coming.

Violence, murders. Defunding the police. Going back to work in NYC is so attractive! Can the company put together a plan to ensure employees safety against being murdered or shoved in front of a subway?

Hope is alive and well —- at other companies- many are opening their eyes to expanding the available talent pool by embracing remote employees....look around some are seeing the light...Metlife is in the dark by restricting their workforce to those who can commute to their rented buildings.

@Flex Work.... well said... it appears that the enticing, new Flex Work schedule was another farce, that was never intended to actually happen. In speaking with colleagues, haven't found anyone whose work hours and location have changed even slightly. Other companies are moving on to the age of flexibility and even allowing folks to become "Digital Nomads", but nope, here all will be kept under the watchful eye and heavy hand of wealthy executive leadership and shareholders. When you hear them speak of how important the office environment and all kinds of togetherness is.... it just sounds overbearing.

This Company dug themselves into a deep ho-e by promising an enticing Flex Work schedule for ALL employees; yet the high priced execs still haven't a clue on how to actually execute a plan. How advantageous will Flex Work actually be for employees when the Company believes 1.5% raises are sufficient and respectable? I am not holding my breath for anything remotely innovative....not here.

The shot is considered “experimental “ and has only been approved by the FDA for emergency used and has not received full FDA approval. Because it is experimental no Government or company can require you to get it.

I don't trust that any surveys are truly anonymous, anymore.

For this one, they should say exactly why they want to know and what they will do with the information. Why exactly do they want to know which site I work at and whether I've been vaccinated?

@"So let me get this right" makes a great point.

Why aren't they having posts and videos of people staying why they didn't get the vaccine?

That said, I got the vaccine because 1) my belief is that the risk of not having it is more than the risk of having it and 2) that not having it will make many transactions in society more difficult. Translation: 1) I think it probably works with minimal risks to me and 2) I don't want hassles.

Anyone know how much money the company will get for pushing current popular narratives?

So let me get this right? Someone at Met thought that the way to say inclusivity was to highlight the stories of why people got the vaccine..... however, until you post stories of the people who didn't you are being completely EXCLUSIVE..... your employees are NOT STUPID OR BLIND.... All the inclusivity talk is smoke and mirrors.

Does anyone really want to be “One Metlife”? It’s frightening to know this company is systematically engaging in mass brainwashing. They disguise everything as being a good thing, it is a ploy for the long game. Americans are rugged individuals who embrace the freedoms this country grants them - I’d rather be unique instead of lumped in with the masses and the brainwashing that this company engages in. It is horrifying.

Holy sh-t! This company is out of control. GFY. It’s none of their business if employees are vaccinated. A revolt is brewing.

I guess once they have the numbers and it is adequate to run the business, then they can say the shot is mandatory. Who knows?

How many will willingly give up their right to privacy by answering this survey?
How is the company going to know who has and who has not taken the shots? Honor system? Lol
Even if they did know, how would they work that out in the workplace? Let's say there is a 50/50 scenario. How do you have 50 percent socially distanced and masked and 50 percent not. Doesn't work.

Well, it doesn't appear to be mandatory, and as far as anonymous.... I agree it might not really be anonymous, but I would assume if they say it is, and it is found out not to be, that might bring about the ability for folks to take legal action due to misrepresentation, no?

Metlife is massively virtue signaling about being inclusive, and diverse, and having "difficult" conversations to better understand how others feel, then in one fell swoop, they are dismissing and discounting those who can't have the vaccine due to health or religious reasons, and those who have natural immunity and/or had Covid and don't need to be vaccinated, and forget about those who are exercising their right to refuse, which is a right. Can anyone spell hypocritical? Oh look, I just did!

Nothing is anonymous...
The CDC and EEOC are enabling businesses to ask/require the shot.

There is one circulating now asking if you have taken the experimental shot.
