Highlights of today's claims leadership meeting

Meeting highlights:

Need to do better on timeliness of adjusting claims and be careful in overpaying out claims. Scolding us basically on taking too long and paying too much. Claims hurt recent earnings numbers.

Still a lot to do in terms of Transformative Growth in claims. Need to ensure efficiencies and work on streamlining with less touches and less costs.

A lot of corporate jargon praising home office handling of COVID in the workplace and doing more to help and take care of our customers.

That was pretty much it....

What claims group had a leadership meeting on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend? Don't know anything about it but it does sound quite inspiring. Timeliness would obviously be better had they not reduced staff by 2000 employees in November, and now fight for talent in a tight labor market.

Thanks! That is what I got out of it too. Not optimistic overall. Reminded me of spring 2020 claims leadership meetings. Not optimistic.
