I never thought I would find myself in such a situation and, it may sound a bit arrogant, now I hope to become redundant. I think that the company is on a very wrong course and that it is set to fall. Although I am an optimist by nature, I believe less and less that it can get better here.

I would do anything to be laid off and made redundant, would be keen to know what the typical packages are for the UK

Everyone wants to be redundant. Enjoy the cash and the time off. The dumpster fire will continue to burn. This is the kind of company you end up at, not build a career on. The sh*t show will go on.
