I had never felt so little valued before. I guess I’m becoming more aware that no one cares what employees think. Every day I am more and more aware that my experience and skillset is becoming meaningless here. I
stress needlessly over all the stupid moves they make, and I know I’m powerless to change anything. Sorry for the pathetic post, but I’m particularly demoralized today and I feel stuck here.

@1vjf+1b4CY1oH What healthy raises are you talking about. Someone is feeding you a line of bs. Now I don't doubt the higher management are getting healthy raises.
Experience and skills rare meaningless. Just look at the leadership forum for confirmation of that fact. The longer you stay, the less value you will have in the market. Find something else and put VOP in your rear view mirror >
I got out and make less than half what I did. Yet I’m much happier and am not stressed 24/7. Best thing they ever did for me was show me the door.
Get out. I haven’t heard of a single person regretting their decision to leave this dumpster fire.
The company does not value employee input/opinions as evidenced by the recent roll out of the work from home program. While employees will sign up for the WFH program, I am sure employees would have preferred to stay home Monday instead of Wednesday. This follows on the heels of the new performance review system implemented last year before considering employees comments on the survey. The only good ideas seemingly come from the top down.
and I just saw where one of the big bosses son got an internship. Seems especially rotten to me.
I know corporate employees in Houston are getting healthy raises.. that's enough motivation for the majority.
If it’s any consolation, you’re not alone. If you want to feel valued and actually make a difference, you need to get out. I did. My life has never been better. It’s hard and scary to do. Lots of uncertainty, but know it’s far better out here than it ever will be there.
