Thread regarding Barnes & Noble layoffs

When did you start losing inspiration?

I am ashamed that I stayed here for 4 years, although now when I look back and remember some things, I have a feeling that I have lost motivation 10 days after I got my job here.
I stayed so long because I always believed that the problem was in me and that I needed some time to get used to the job (before BN I didn’t have much experience). What a mistake.

Returning from COVID lockdown I got to work with mainly managers and got to see how they really were. Learned just how toxic and petty they all are and I got tired of our store manager he’s a fu----g id--t and a tool bag, I was just done with that group of losers running the store. But the final nail was when the store manager and the area manager got into a di-k measuring contest over the humor section in our store and moved and rearranged it five time only for it to wind up back where it were in the first place. People at my store would rather play with the books then sell them, just got sick it.

Can’t feel sorry for you. You knew. You stayed. Now you’re complaining? You made your decision 4 years ago.
