The people on this forum that repost other people’s comments and say something like “Couldn’t agree more” or “ Copied from xyz” remind me of the people at Exxon that don’t actually contribute on their own and try to thrive off of other people’s work.

Imitation (repetition) is the sincerest form of flattery. It has led to the success of many undeserving people. Don't believe me...take a walk around the C suites in any company!
To me, it seems more like people highlighting posts that might get overlooked because they are buried in replies. For as long as they credit the writer, I'm good with it.
