Great people with talent are jumping ship in droves. I'm really saddened to see how many people are leaving every single day. There is a major exodus going on right now and I don't see anybody at the top doing anything to prevent it. That means that this is going to continue for who knows how long. This will not end well.

Yep, you are correct in posting this. I worked my tail off for the time I was there. I had very good feedback from my leadership, volunteered to take on extra administrative work to support my team, even volunteered to take time away from my personal life and travel for other team members so they could stay home to take care of their families. I also spent personal money out of my pocket when it was nicely asked by my leadership for wedding showers, baby showers, death of loved ones, and going away gifts. All for not even one “thank you” when I resigned. I would’ve at least appreciated a card in the mail. I understand the circumstances surrounding COVID, but it seemed they were happy I left and didn’t care about anything I contributed. They truly do not care if you are a great employee and leave. Such as it is and I have happily moved on where I’m appreciated for the work I contribute. Thank goodness my leadership does not tolerate soliciting of personal funds too.
