A few of us were just told that the 30-40 auto adjusters being moved to CCC third week of June are to be a part if the new "Customer Claims Engagement" group that CCC is building. We will be handling routed calls and chats from CCC service that are related to basic claims questions and concerns. We will not be handling anything with currently open claims and will not be doing any adjusting but will be assisting insureds with closed and paid claims. We will also be working CCC overflow calls and chats which is where a part of the 6 week training comes in. We will also tag policies for review where a potential and suspected loss occurred but no claim immediately opened. We will be a permanent part of the CCC and will no longer be part of claims. Supposedly many of the claims adjuster jobs currently posted are to replace us and not so much adding that many additional back to the claims force.

Thanks OP. That was pretty much confirmed with our affected auto adj today. Still not sure what to think. Glad to be out of claims though.
