For all you big brains that keep preaching that everyone is getting payed off in claims. How do figure out re-insurance is going to work considering they require staff to handle a large percentage of claims. That’s physical inspections so don’t try to tell me the re-I company is going to approve someone in India qualifies as staff😳

Ummm, India has been doing virtual since late last year. I know because I helped train and certify them. I am waiting for my pink slip myself now.
Fact is India can and has been doing every claims function aside from on shore legal that can be done in the U.S. including prop/auto adj and SIU.
India won’t do virtual assist. Allstate realized they need actual adjusters who’ve been in the field doing that role. India will continues to do quick photo claims , but nothing where they have to haggle or deal with shops.
India is already fully trained, licensed/permitted, and already doing every role in claims in some capacity. Where have you been?
India has been for months. Including injury, auto/property adjusting, working with shops, doing SIU, FNOL....the whole nine yards. And when it is time pretty much everything claims will be done in Pune and their other India centers.
They will do whatever it takes to offshore as much as possible. Don’t doubt it for a minute. If they need a contractor here and there that’s what they will do stateside. Claims is not an American thing anymore. We have been replaced by offshore workers for less money. Better get in to a whole new profession. Healthcare or law enforcement would be good choices.
