Thread regarding Hitachi Vantara layoffs

Everything but the role model

Shouldn’t a manager be a role model who inspires, who is trusted, who has integrity and is also a hard worker? I would not like to name anyone, but I wonder if there are such managers here at all?
I don't know, maybe there are managers who have such a quality so they can be someone's role model, but mine is certainly not like that.

The business is losing its leaders and now it’s global account directors (the top sales people with the best skills). The place is finished.

If all bad managers are now gone, presumably the good one left very long time ago, this is the best time for one to get promoted and do the right thing. So don’t quit, talk to all the SVP or CEO to get promoted

I have not met a single manager here I look up to. ALL have gotten to where they were at with office politics. They are corrupt poison who should be flagged and prevented from being hired and going to other companies. Sadly, now most have left on their own terms to do just the same to other places unfortunately.
