The job market is literally on fire right now, as many companies are having a hard time finding people.
Go on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, exc, and you will see more postings than ever for insurance job, many even work from home. Quite the opposite of a year ago.
Now is the time to get something, as you will likely get a more competitive salary too, with the lack of applicants.
Meh, the job market around here really isn't something the write home about. They are plentiful if you want to go into the food service industry or truck driving. All fine jobs but not what I want to do. Also many big and small companies around here are going more and more back into an in office setting. Their position during interviews is they are paying for the buildings so they are going to be in use. Plus these jobs are not found much in this area anyways. My unemployment and the extra federal money got extended here through the year and I have 9 months of severance in the bank that hasn't even been touched so I will wait it out a while longer
Not if you live in CA and don't know workers comp. Good luck with that.
