In case somebody is here because they're vetting Allstate to see if they should apply: don't. If you're smart and know what you're doing any place will be better than this. Here, you will only be seen as a threat and no amount of good and hard work will help you move up. Chances are you'll end up working for somebody who should be three levels below you at best. Just stay away.

Garbage company since the layoffs . Come here to get experience and leave after a year . They laid off adjusters with a good amount of experience thinking virtual assist would work and writing estimates from hundreds of photos, but in the end they need adjusters going to shops . Shops are tired of doing adjuster jobs writing estimates and taking photos .
They safe work life balance but don’t mean it.

Agreed, even before the layoffs I have never worked for a company that seems to actively hate its own employees. It’s like Allstate as a company hates that it has to pay you to work. The culture here is awful, full of ignorance, no responsibility for ones actions, blaming others, delegating work, etc.
