According to stltoday.com, the number is 651. I’m not sure why that number couldn’t be shared with us.

Disappointed in Ascension and its values. Treating people like commodities. Help desk outsourcing has resulted in long on hold times keeping clinical members from providing patient care. Frankly I am concerned about this organizations future and quality of care.

I will say, I don’t know of any other company that gives a 3+ month heads up on their intent. That is one thing about this that Ascension has handled ok.

They are getting out of the support business and moving to development. A lot of companies are doing it as it is a paradigm shift that started with leading edge companies years ago.

TOTALY unorganized and lacking compassion. People were sent to the wrong calls, Lacking guidance, on next strips, no FAQs, communication was all over the place and in some cases different messaging. Some approached by hiring managers before an application was submitted.
There will be Yers of distrust as this has been going on for 2-3 years.

That is their intent: to divest AT. They won't stop out sourcing until AT is no more.
