I wish I was one of the people who have no issues phoning it in. I really do. But I'm not. So I keep doing all the work they send my way. To finish it all I do it after hours, before hours, on the weekends... I always give it my all despite them reducing benefits and offering no incentives. But I'm getting really tired of company never noticing and never rewarding that work. I can't change who I am but it's really starting to get on my nerves.

You can work your a@# off but once you don't or slow down, they take notice and you can count on being next on the list to be laid off. This company wants production like machines at cheap pay and fast pace in case you don't know. They ONLY care about their favorites. Do NOT trust anyone with how you really feel, not even your manager or HR, especially HR. No one cares. They will throw you under the bus to save their job. HR is run by the worst coldest person with zero personality or compassion for humans.
Dont
You’re being taken advantage of .....SU–––R!
Run by a woman that nobody likes... How awful. 😱
I used to care, gave my all and feel my core was lucky I ran the department the way I did, then the offshoring of jobs happened, watched all my coworkers get let go, merged with another core that is the biggest sh–t show ever run by a women nobody likes, they have no interest in improving, offshore frustrated they got such sh–––y training from them.....I could go on and on but in the end I just don't care any more, I do my 8 hour shift and log right off, this is just a paycheck until I find another job
Nor should you phone it in. For those that think they don’t owe xerox anything you are wrong. You owe them a solid days work nothing more or less. This self entitlement is staggering. Hearing that people are at home not doing their work or half a days work and using the rest to find a job. Get over yourselves. Xerox is not your friend or your family. It’s a business and you’ve agreed to work there. Regardless of the 2–3 people’s workload. All you can do is an honest days work. They might expect you to work 60 hours a week but you did not sign on for that. If you are unhappy with the company it’s your free choice to leave.
I understand your work ethic, I was the same way before I moved on from Xerox. The problem is that it is now expected behavior. Your managers take it for granted that you will work weekends and nights, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. The one weekend you don't go the extra mile, and something blows up, everyone up the food chain will give you a hard time for not being there. So, they don't notice when you work the extra hours, but they will remember the one time that you missed something. It's the new Xerox.
I admire your work ethic and your personal commitment but, you need to bring your talent and ethics to a company that will reciprocate.
