Can anyone substantiate the rumor that Allstate Commercial is for sale? Not that it's a big deal, commercial has never produced any significant numbers to the company's bottom line. With their antiquated underwriting and zero appetite, TW could probably put Allstate Commercial on Craigslist to move the "ALLSTATE BUGGY WHIP" division known as commercial.

It is not for sale. It is combining with Nat'l General just like Encompass, etc.
I believe National General has a big commercial division, would they sell that off so quickly or just consolidate the two groups?
