Unrealistically short deadlines can't help get the work done quicker! The ever shorter deadlines are very frustrating to me and I think I am one step away from quitting. It is simply unrealistic for someone to do a job in such a short time.
There is no strategy I can use to meet those deadlines, except that the job is not well done. Do you have a problem with deadlines getting shorter as well?

Don’t ever stress for this company. They will lay you off at will. They don’t care if you work hard or not. They just care about the product getting out the door. Even if you work hard your boss will take credit anyways. Just do as you can to get the job done.
Answers to requests for shorter deadlines:
“sorry internet is down. damn cable company!”
“new phone. who dis?”
“me no speaky engrish.”
just don't do the job as well then, do it 'good enough' to meet the deadlines. it's not like there will be any merit pay increases anymore anyways.
I’m sure there is an entire department (or more) somewhere who share that step with you.
