Lately, whomever of my colleagues I’m talking to, everyone’s looking for another job. That surprised me a little, to be honest, based on my own experience here.
You always have to be ready, but I'm still very comfortable here and I don't think the grass is much greener anywhere else, so I haven't looked at what's being offered on the job market for a long time. Maybe I should.

Old–timer advice should include daily infusions of pineapple juice. Just sayin'.
"whomever of my colleagues I’m talking to, everyone’s looking for another job".
If people find a job quickly, few are looking.
If employees cannot find another job, they are always looking.
Ask them how many years they have been looking.
Found something?
HDD–> where to go to?
Old timer advice. You should always be looking and willing to look at new opportunities. I must admit I have had been chased by head–hunters, lately, So, if I wanted to, I could move on.
It comes down to some of your values.
- Work Life balance
- Pay
- New job changes: type of work, location, etc....
I put them in that order. So, always consider other opportunities.
