I often wonder how much they saved on employee who came to replace my colleague who was a hard worker and often subordinated his private life to this company? It would not surprise me if his replacement is twice as cheap, given so little experience and how much that person is not interested in the job at all.

By replacing with contract employees company does not have to pay for benefits..
In our area qualified techs are being laid off and replaced with Best Buy Geek Squad people. Seriously the truth! Most don't last long. You get what you pay for!!!!
