When we keep laying keep people off?

Global Logic is going to be running the show from now on. You’re going to see more new faces appear and some old faces disappear.
Headcount is linked to profitability. When products don’t differentiate sales are sourced from customer relationships (not SFDC pipelines). Lose the sales person, lose the prospects and probably customers. Then revenue decreases and subsequently profitability. And so the cycle continues. This will stabilise when HV reduces to its revised customer ‘universe’ (very large customers that determine it’s cheaper to maintain their SOE rather than change platform or go public cloud). A hiring spree won’t help as negative momentum grows and HV prospects simply don’t exist anymore.
Japan, get the divestment done before it’s too late..
Well, in GK's view, the company gets stronger when it lays people off....who needs employees anyway. Especially when they are going to gut or sell the data/hardware elements and become a services company.
HV’s reputation is damaged not only with current and previous employee treatment, but also with current and past customers.
HV has had ongoing issues with exploiting labor markets in different geographical regions with lacking expertise in different industry verticals.
Quality, ethics, and integrity do not come to mind when thinking of the Hitachi brand.
The limited talented this company had have been either been let go off or have left on their own. They probably now realize it and the mantra has changed from "Fit to Compete" to "Stronger together".
I don't blame those who left - there is no DIRECTION from or TRUST in the new leadership!
We will be stronger together on the unemployment line. Only a fool would believe these gang of thieves.
In the end for all the prototyping or experiments, everyone will get burned (i.e. pi–––d off and burned out). and the company wins.
Toast
This is absolute nonsense
Remember GFK mantra asking employees to “Trust Me”???? At the same time this guy was actively looking for a buyer for this $h!t hole company. You can’t trust him or any of these criminals. Global Logic made it perfectly clear what intentions Hitachi has with HV. They are not for the long term folks. The end is near and clear.
Pre–recorded media that works as a propaganda machine.
Pre–recorded, scripted video
oh I just love all the standard keywords these clowns keep repeating in the session.. Aren't these standard keywords in every Resume???? (except Lumada,, only for Hitachi employee)

IS OUR KICKOFF PRERECORDED?
It is just another typical showcase session using slides contents dated 15 yrs ago. this session is to show or let you know who the top dogs are, their background, what & where we are going to do. Its a check mark on the TO–DO list that qualify for the next round of Big Bonus (or golden Handshake).
Seems fairly analogous to the quote by Jackie Moon who played in the ABA for the Flint Tropics, "Everybody Love Everybody!"

I would not doubt it one bit if HV management enforces all its employees to wear eyeliner to look super cool in front of clients whispering, "Luuuumada....Vantarrrrrrra, Luuuumada....Vantarrrra".
Cheers,
