One of the things that surprises me until today at Exxon is that no manger has a team that he/ she build, trust and develop.
Everyone move so fast that I believe we all work independently , against each other. There are no SME in each group and employees just look what they need to do to go to the next assignment. All this has been contributing to take Exxon where we are at.

We "Bangalore folks" do not have any desire to troll here dude. And thanks for spilling you HQ folks your bad culture, behavior, and treatment to us while getting paid much less than you and less than within Bangalore itself. Now, your next question would be then why do we not jump the ship and the answer to that is yes, that's in progress.
You are right. The environment is so toxic and cut throat that it does not even feel like the same company.
Crate guys crate!!!! 😂 half these posts are by Bangalore trolls with bad English skills
I don’t know any managers that would crate a team either, sounds inhumane.
Sounds like you work in a disgusting place.
I've never met a manager that didn't know the meaning of team.
They my peeps.
Sugary marshmallow delights.
Love my team.
In an organization of hundreds of thousands you don't know ANY manager that works well with their team? That's some serious psychological projection my friend.
Root cause = ranking system. So long as an individual's success means a peer's eventual downfall it is what you get. Zero sum game and we can't all win.
