Just leave if you have the opportunity. Win has solidified themselves as a Bernie Madoff and non profitable company. If you stay then it's your fault, not theirs. They are just using you for as long as they need you. Mic Drop.

I took nearly a 10% pay cut when leaving windstream, but I was taking on medical bills like never before at windstream. No heath issues but the insurance didnt cover anything, $1200 doctor bill and $500 in scripts for something minor. They dont even cover scripts from a pharmacy.
Keep on mind windstream doesnt give employee raises annually. In 3yrs at my new employer I got a 3% cost of living increase each year and got an additional 10% on a promotion. I’ve far eclipsed any salary I would have ever reached had I stayed at windstream. You have to leave windstream to advance, that much is clear. If you stay, it is indeed your own fault.
I left for less money...but with incentives and bonuses, less stress, nights, weekends and holidays off...I havent been happier in decades
If a competitor made me an offer, I'd move for even money. The benefits couldn't be any worse, and upper management would probably find a clue without an epiphany while reading a self-help book in the Swiss Alps.
