Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

For the people that claim to be happy and everything's great, you seem to have a lot of free time to troll a layoff board...hypocrite much? Or waiting for the shoe to drop? Or so much free time you don't know why you were even hired?

I have been at Teradata for 5+ years. Simply the best company I have every worked for. Great people, great customers and we have a bright future ahead. To all of you flat earthers and ne'er–do–wells keep crying in your beer. Au revoir, mon ami!

Remember BJ and TBS? yeah no one knows either, I'm sure that mistake only burn a few hundred thousands, sad thing it's only one of too many self inflicted wounds

Marketing is a huge revenue suck. Teradata wouldn’t lose anything getting rid of everyone in Marketing.

What EVP lasted only a month? Initials at least! That must have been so fast that even I didn't catch it.

You must have been in a bad team. Our team has a great culture. Surround yourself with positive colleagues and you'll achieve great things rather than spend your days on here moaning

It's definitely toxicity at its best esp when Marketing can steer a tech company to randomly try to adopt Lean manufacturing as its flavor of the day, resulting in wasting $$$, an EVP that lasted a month, and massive confusion. They should focus on why it takes 10 Marketing SVPs and VPs to outsource to an outside ad agency who does all of the work. Perhaps that's why they have so much free time to post on these boards.
