Just look at out competition - some of them have much better results than we do but all of them vary from bad to worse in the way they treat employees. If you are tired of the toxicity, politics and no job security, my advice is to look at smaller companies (and not just in our industry.) The pay might be a bit lower, but the conditions are guaranteed to be much better.

I worked for a smaller telecom, then windstream bought them and ran the company into the ground.
As long as these smaller companies are run better from the top down
Small, locally-owned independent telcos are stable; most are well-run.
