The mindset of the average Allstate lifer... And we wonder why jobs are headed to India

Allstate sucks the life out of you. The employees that have good ideas are told to shut up and sit down. Most productivity is wasted on stupid goals to get the boss his bonus. Annual incentives create dog chasing tail situations year after year. After years of this BS the final water is circling to go down the drain.
It's not India's fault that the US takes advantage of third world countries.
I don’t know which department you’re working in but in claims we are all working 50 to 60 hours a week because of the pressures to meet our numbers on a daily and weekly basis or being told we will be written up and terminated. Writing 7-8 estimates a day off 30-50 horribly taken photos from shops expecting a $12,000 supplement check . They have instilled fear in us to do double the work load Or be thrown into the streets like our coworkers last year.Instead of weekly reports we are shown daily reports on spreadsheets and asked what we were doing all day.
I'm with OP.
The lifers I work with are some of the most entitled as—s I've ever met. Being here a couple of decades does not excuse you from accountability... they've gotten used to decades of Allstate tolerating below-average performance... and do nothing but bi–h and moan about the requirements of the job becoming "too aggressive" and management actually holding them accountable for once.
Total B.S. most of us that have here been here over 2 decades can at least discuss a claim with a customer in a coherent manor, we understand the policy and coverages inside and out, know and follow a rational settlement process that follows state guidelines and requirements. Knowledge Experience Communication can never be replaced by the youngsters or by India until they have become a "LIFER" Doing the "BARE MINIMUM" was never a thing until the corporate mentality against employees turned to the dark side and showed us all that commitment and loyalty meant nothing to them. You reap what you sow all the way to home office f-t cats. From the 90's until present day this big blue cruise ship has never been able to break free from the stigma of their roots "Sears" the outdated Jurassic park mentality of this company has been ever present from day one of my employment which started soon after they went public. This transformative process that is ongoing may succeed in the end despite the leadership of the ivory tower goons. Lifers work hard and work smart which is irreplaceable until you become a LIFER.
Transformative growth is total c––p.
Total Loss(India) causes so many delays and never know a thing when asking them a question. They send emails without the required forms to move the claim forward. Leadership is not supportive or existent. Upper leadership is tone deaf to a pandemic that has benefitted them by the setting unrealistic expectations and no support to ensure quality and basically threatening claim adjusters.
“Let’s not forget how personal lines was affected last year” and “The great thing about America. You have choices, and can choose where you work.” And “I have completed tasks that have been out of my pay grade...”
On and on the beat goes.
Bitter Betty...OP sounds like you have the attitude problem.
To the poster let me explain something to you. Work is an illusion. At the end of the day most of us (except self employed) are working to make someone else money. I don't blame anyone that does the bare minimum. Most companies not just allstate could care less about you. I work to make a living. When it's time for any company to lay off do you think going above and beyond will matter? No, most of the time cost does
They are headed to India because they are cheap labor ...will never be as good and it is questionable whether they are even really effective. They are going cheap not better or even close to equal. We are going to lose pretty much every Insured who makes a claim and finds out just how horrible customer service/claims has become after being transformed
