Am I the only one who is bored senseless with his work right now? I know it's the same work I've been doing for the past eight years, but at least before we had incentives in better pay and better benefits. We also had realistic and achievable goals, which certainly isn't the case anymore. Now I'm not sure if I'm more bored or more stress with my work. Either way it's not good.

Depends on the job.
Some of us don't work in an easily outsourced department doing a job a trained monkey can do and expecting everyone to care, like, I don't know, claims.
Chat is mindless and mundane. I like it better than phones though.
It’s not really the work itself that is getting old, but the feeling that no matter how hard you work that day there will always be more to do. You’ll never finish even if you work until 8-10pm, which sometimes you will, and then you still can’t meet the goals because they are designed for you to fail and not get raises
Working from home is the worst ever. The new metrics are unattainable as well.
You’re not alone. I’m bored out of my mind. Focusing is nearly impossible. I’m just sticking around to see what happens.
