Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Another week, another story spinning Jim Farley as the ultimate "car guy." This time he's been named to Harley-Davidson's board of directors. And of course we are treated to the usual accolades of Jim as just a regular ol' blue collar guy who likes to roll up his sleeves and get underneath the hood. That's all well and good, but when are we going to hear anything about the changes he is bringing to Ford? You know, the same company that still can't manage to launch a new vehicle without major quality issues. Now the company has acknowledged that Mach-Es are dying and can't be resurrected without a software update. Ford is spinning its wheels and still dealing with the same issues that plagued them 2 CEOs ago. And what's Farley's big plan for Ford? So far it seems to be keeping his PR minions as busy as possible planting Jim "Car Guy" stories in the local media. Nothing to see here.
