Join another company. You won't get it here no matter how hard you work. All the positions are reserved for friends, family, or sycophants. If there's nobody who at that moment fits that description, they'll bring in somebody from the outside. The rest of us are out of luck.

I won the DPA award twice and agree with the post. Allstate is horrible. Best thing I did in my life is quit.
The losers on here are the worst. The fact that any of you actually worked for Allstate is astounding. It appears Allstate’s biggest flaw is hiring soul-sucking narcissists that only know how to moan about their lousy lot in life. For most of you it is probably too late to change; I’m guessing you wouldn’t even if you could. You exist on your incessant, useless chatter. Allstate is a corporation that can and does operate in the way they see fit which all of you would do if the roles were reversed. Anyone if finds fault in this post refuses to acknowledge their own personal failings.
Love the external hires for openings never posted. This place is dirty.

I agree with OP. 15 yrs of superior performance over my more highly paid coworkers and cant the time of day when it comes a promotion. its who you know with this company... those are just the facts.
If you voluntarily chose work from home over returning to office full time or hybrid don't expect any promotions or consideration for advancement. We have already pretty much been told this. This is why I ended up choosing hybrid. I am a BTE employee and I am not going to be stuck doing this role permanently due to working from home. Some initiative and effort needs to be shown and in their eyes returning to the office in at least a part time capacity will be a part of this.
This thread is rubbish. I and others I know that do not fit those p–s poor thought out labels as an attempt to troll hav3d been promoted more than once.
The problem we have with many employed at Allstate is they think they are owed promotions simply for their mediocre work and for having an was in the seat. I see many of those clamoring for promotions and raises doing absolutely nothing to warrant it. The sense if false self importance and over entitlement flows through this company and country like a virus.
This post proves you are un-promotable at the current moment. Focus on what it takes to excel in your current position, take initiative as a leader on your team, once those are in place have a development conversation with your manager and let them know where you’d like to get to
Not true. I have been promoted twice in 5 years. In fact I tried to turn down the first promotion and my manager at the time convinced me to take it
