I'm hoping that the next round of cuts includes my name. Walking aways with severance would be perfect right now. Getting out of this toxic environment full of dirty politics and good-for-nothing managers who think yelling 24/7 is a good leadership method is my new goal.

"Chevron Way" was a holier-than-thou mantra promoted by DOR. It played well when the Company was mostly white males. JW paid it lip service because it sounded good. CW has been losing meaning and visibility for at least ten years now. No more tri-folds issued to put on your desk to remind you. It's been largely replaced by D&I brainwashing, which history will attribute to MW.
There were and still are plenty of abusive Chevron managers that never worked at Texaco. What is their excuse?
Dave O'Reilly started the Chevron Way in response to abusive Texaco managers that were impact moral in the post-merger company.
It's pretty much a distant memory now.
I bet you never hear about "The Chevron Way" any more. It was all talk and no follow through. Go into the Chevron internal website (name is escaping me) if you want to know how Chevron is suppose to treat the employees.
And finally there are too many Screamers to list, even if I just used their initials.
Ok... which manager is known as The Screamer?
Just to add - most of this started before Chevron took over but it really intensified since then.
