Called HR today about free cobra for FED stimulus. Of course, they don’t know anything yet and working to see the requirements of the passed bill. Allstate never has any answers for past employees. If your still working for this as—e company. Run....

Call your representative who voted for the free Cobra
In the email I received Friday, we are directed to call the benefits center or go through Allstate good life. No where does it say to contact Cobra.
That being said I can’t believe they’re stating they don’t know anything about it.
You need to contact COBRA. Once you are discharged and enroll in COBRA Allstate is not involved. The fact that they are looking into it at all is above and beyond. The legislation is with COBRA, not Allstate. All Allstate does is verify your qualifications with COBRA. How and when you pay COBRA is business between you and COBRA.
