Anyone know when the next round of layoffs will be? It feels like once the next wave of account transfers to the central model I will not have any accounts left. My BBG peers are all in a similar boat with their portfolios.
Can anyone who knows provide some information? I don't want to work myself out of a job and will start looking elsewhere.
Not entirely true. If you have a sizable amount of relationships remaining in market and not being transferred to RC then there should still be a need for you.
OP- you're outta luck my friend. Plan is to lay off all BBG once the next wave of transfers is completed. From my understanding, all BBG portfolios will be managed centrally and there will not be a need for BBG going forward. If I were you, I'd be looking for a new job yesterday.
