I really just don’t get it. If you don’t like working for Allstate...get out!! It’s–thard to apply for other jobs and make something happen. Don’t let the posters on this board fool you. They are dead weight and have probably never advanced passed the entry-level positions in their fields. YOU control your own destiny, not the fear-inducing people of this board. If you work hard and show up on time you’ll get rewarded. Just like any other job!

I was a top tier employee for many years. Disregard what this troll Glenn says. This company has turned to s–t since he got here. But, they’re right. Get out. Believe me, it’s the best thing you can do. I did.

Leave before they move your job to India for $5 hour
If you work hard and long hours they either lay you off because of your high paying salary and post your job at $15-$20 hour or give you double the workload. There’s no loyalty to employees here anymore . The day after last Thanksgiving they laid off thousands of adjusters . Those left are working 55-60 hour weeks until these incompetent leaders realize their mistakes and hire more staff. Customers are canceling their policies in droves because it’s taking weeks to inspect their cars .
I can’t wait until the next round of layoffs.
Allstate laid off those that worked hard and advanced because they made too much money.
For example, many band 5s were just fired because on a spread sheet they made too much money. Many had BTE ratings and were doing 2-4 people’s jobs.
So if you have moved up, been here awhile, do a ton of work, mentor others, have BTE ratings, been receiving great raises, etc. those are the people that will be the next to go. They cost too much when looking at a spreadsheet.
It’s just sad.

Dead weight lifers on here saying you can't find a new job are just that... dead weight lifers who will complain about every little thing on here but have zero initiative and don't want to encourage others to because they're jealous that they don't have the ba–sto fix their situation.
Looking for a new job is always better when you're already employed than when you've been let go. If you hate Allstate, don't stick around and take the BS to get term'd or laid off with the possibility of no severance or unemployment...
Get off your a-sand put in some effort, you'd be surprised what jobs are out there. It'll be easier to do between now and going back to the office... Don't wait.

I know a person in my old office who said something like this, she was hired at Allstate through her cousin. she did leave though, and is now working with her mom. :D
