Our group had 2 meetings scheduled Friday morning that were “postponed” at the last minute. Now they have everyone in suspense, we all suspect first meeting was for those who were to be laid off, second meeting was for those who were to be kept on.

Posted earlier that there were meetings set, but they were cancelled.

Just in suspense at this point, no idea what is coming, but something is.

Frontier just had a Friday meeting at EOD...told their NOCs that that are being outsourced to India...guess it is getting ready for the merger

Well, here's a thing: My boss just slated a meeting on a Friday morning. All hands, and scheduled at end of business today.

WE Will never just get rid of any team it department. There has been enough consolidation over the past few years. The only disruption would be the merger with frontier.

With everyone remote when does it make sense to start closing buildings again? We moved our team a year and a half ago just to move back out a few months later. Now that everyone is remote no sense in keeping a $1M office open for 6 people to work in.

Constant small layoffs is a shady method companies use to avoid triggering the WARN act.

Layoffs mostly happen in small groups now, rather than in entire departments. It's a constant purge - every week - that never ends. I suspect this is done to not attract attention, and to give the impression that business is good.

When they come up with a list of equipment to pull from inventory and ship to a reseller, it can't be good.
