Allstate has its own version of Stockholm syndrome - employees who've been here long enough that they've gotten used to the mistreatment and will defend anything Allstate does with every fiber of their being. I'm not sure if I should feel sorry for them for falling for it or just be annoyed by them. Actually, I think I'll chose the second option.

Allstate has a culture that rewards those that comply and smile at the worst behaviors and “ideas” of their superiors. The circles are tight and only those who allow their suggestions stolen by their managers while propping up their clueless butts up are rewarded.
It’s frustrating, I understand it because I didn’t realize how bad if a job it was til I left and im trying to tell people to leave because it gets better and they always find a reason not to because they are afraid and have put so much time into this company already
This is what is left from years and years of abuse and cult mentality and brainwashing it started in the 90’s and has swelled in to a steaming pile. By end of the 2nd quarter, there will be a lot more people out on stress leave due to Allstate BS.
How dare you compare stockholm syndrome to an at will office job? You pa—scouldn't handle real stress. You guys are 10-ply... Could you be more soft?
If you don't like your job, get a new one or suck it up... stop with the "woe is me" bu—tor try to compare your coushy situation to people who really faced adversity and torture, you look like (probably are) a bunch of losers. You should be embarrassed. No wonder they are working so hard to move jobs overseas...
No but I know a lot of people who have ptsd when they start a new company meaning are afraid to share items or talk in meetings with anyone who is senior to them due to the don’t speak u less spoken to or share your ideas because it doesn’t matter way Allstate operates. Leaders only work to please their leaders and never consider others opinions.
What Allstate has is their on version of the biggest loser and you my khaki-assed weasel are at the top of the list.
Once the job market improves in the next year we’re bailing. It was a great experience over the last year seeing Allstate pull out all the stops trying to get into the top 3. It’s just not working.
Omg, comparing an at will office job to bring a prisoner or ho—eMust be nice if this is the worst thing in your life.
Can you be more dramatic? Ffs.
