I’ve been gone for over two months and they have never contacted me about laptop and monitor return.
Is that normal?
Who do I even contact about that?

I left in December and was finally contacted via letter to return my equipment in early April. Just FYI they will eventually start bothering you about it if you don’t send back. The letter threatened “legal or police action” if I did not return or contact old manager by 5/1 to advise if I am unable to send back by 5/1 for some reason. I had my equipment all boxed up and did return this week. I had just been waiting it out to see if Allstate would actually follow up for it after sending the original mailer and box. They did, but it took 6 mos. Hope this info is helpful to others.
THEY WILL COME FOR THE EQUIPMENT - TRUST ME
Just sell the laptop to Progressive or State Farm and tell them you sent it back already and that it is between them and the postal service. Seemed to work...
Oldie, what if my former manager was also laid off? My entire department was wiped out.
Supposedly if you completed the survey after being laid off regarding them sending your belongings to you the returning of equipment was addressed on that. There was a separate survey for home based workers regarding returning equipment. I filled that one out but never heard anything back. Attempted to contact HR but with their own lay offs they are as short staffed as claims. Never got through. Finally said eff it and drove the equipment to the Hudson campus. They wouldn't let me in the gate so I walked the equipment up to the main door and left it all on the ground there and told security to do something instead of watching an empty building and come out and get that c––p and drove back home. Haven't looked back since. I don't care and hope it is still sitting out there after the last 4 months.
You need to contact your former manager.
