Just look at this place, I feel like I work in Hyderabad now, this place sucks. He runs around telling the WOKE mob just about anything they want to hear so he can get press time. This is 100% true!!! 70% of my Software Engineer team are H1 B Indians. Upper management had the opportunity to hire multiple QA Software Engineers from America but instead they chose to "offshore" them to India. Also I seen a mass email recently "Refer a friend for a job" and 90% of the positions for software engineers were based in India what a DISGRACE !
Here's the Consulting firm Playbook for replacing Americans
- Create group where there's a mix of Americans and Indians - force the American workforce to provide training and knowledge transfer. If questioned tell the American staff that it will free them up so they can work on more noble pursuits. Or tell them that it allows the Indian staff to work over night. Or best of all, tell them they are overworked and just need that extra support so they can spend more time with family.
- Tell American Management that this is the future to stay competitive. Management will think they're not getting replaced and well and some how they will not get laid off because they will manage from a distance.
- After the Indian team is trained up, layoff the Americans non-management in a Pearl Harbor type surprise layoff
- Keep American Management on for a short time to iron out bumps, then when it soon dawns on them their foolish decisions, provide the final de–hblow.
- Merry Christmas > Happy Holidays > Happy Diwali Day
This is a legacy bank with lazy pay cheque collectors with no intention to improve their performance. Jamie knows this and rather than fight them on it he's simply shifting jobs to India where people actually want to work and want to contribute to the success of the bank. Extremely glad to see the bank being a proud global citizen and taking meaningful efforts to create value for it's shareholders.
It's not just in the US! The KYC office in Europe has started shifting overseas to India with more to follow later this year. Canada is scheduled to be next.

Cheap labour has created a cheap work culture it’s utterly terrifying whats happening at this company . Indian people getting big for their boots and coming after anyone who is not Indian.
