Layoff Alaska Office, couldn't find their belly buttons, let alone all the oil and gas they have been sitting on for years! Pure incompetence. Let the independents, who have drilled successful exploration wells recently, do the job. What an embarrassment.

Management is very uncertain at this point. No real direction. Their main concern is preservation of their livelihood and wealth. Hunger games even at their level. 1/3rd in charge (22+) with the remaining 2/3rds (21) competing to break into the upper echelons. Who blinks first? And why? And who will pay the consequence? Not they. If it supports their needs, We will have layoffs in September.

If previous layoffs are any guide, it will be smaller, but since this was a merger...all bets are off.

If there’s another round that soon, are we looking at a reduction of the same size we just had? My guess would be it’d be a smaller reduction but who knows anymore...
